A long-time deputy is starting his first day of retirement after decades of service to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Jerry Gray signed out Thursday for the last time in his 20-year career with the county. Gray is also a former firefighter with the Centralia Fire Protection District and former mayor of Junction City.

We thank Jerry for his years of service to the community and wish him well on his new adventures.
