A weekend burglary in Sandoval and theft in Junction City are under investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded around 5 p.m. Saturday to a home on East Commercial after the resident returned to find her home had been broken into and her TV and Xbox taken.

The resident informed deputies she had only been gone for about 30 minutes.

Deputies also responded to Polk Avenue in Junction City on a report of a toolbox being taken from the back of a truck sometime before 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
