Marion Police conducted another search warrant at a home in the 1000 block of East Reeves  Wednesday and arrested a man who was taken into custody in September on drug-related charges and who has been identified by police as a cocaine distributor.

Detectives recovered from the home cocaine, cannabis, illegally possessed prescription medication, weighing equipment, drug paraphernalia, illegally possessed ammunition and pistol magazines.

Arrested was 27-year-old Jeremy Newsom. He was charged possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of ammunition. He is lodged in the Williamson County Jail in Marion awaiting future court proceedings.

Police conducted a search warrant at Newsom’s home back in September. He was arrested then for possession of a controlled substance, possession of anabolic steroids, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of firearm ammunition and possession of drug paraphernalia. Newsom was out on bond for the September investigation. Newsom also has a pending Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon charge from a September 2016 Marion Police Department investigation.
