A 43-year-old Centralia man was sentenced Tuesday in Marion County Court to 30 months probation after he pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of unlawful restraint.

Tyrone Hill was arrested in June and charged with two counts Class 1 felony criminal sexual assault by force after Centralia police officers located a woman in her underwear laying on the ground crying and bleeding. She told police that Hill had attempted to sexually assault her.

Hill was taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Jail where he had remained until Tuesday with bail set at $200,000.
