SALINE COUNTY — Illinois State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Saline County.

Police reports say that at approximately 6:40 p.m. Sunday two pick-up trucks were involved in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 45 at Rays Road just north of Ledford. A GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Colorado were invovled in the crash.

The driver of the Sierra and a passenger of the Colorado were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Colorado was transported to a regional hospital for injuries.

The crash remains under investigation with additional details to be released at a later time.
