NASHVILLE — Nashville Community High School has hired a new principal. Mark Begando was hired at a special meeting Monday evening.

Begando previously served as Principal and Transportation Director at Hartford Elementary School within the Wood River-Hartford School District west of Edwardsville. Begando replaces Brian Pasero who left to become Superintendent of Chester Community Unit District 139.
