(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon Township High School Board of Education met Monday.  Among actions taken, The Board approved to start accepting bids for the new greenhouse project, with a bid opening ceremony set for April 5th at 2 p.m. The Board also discussed and tabled a proposal for increasing the district credit card limit from $30,000 to $60,000 and the acquisition of a second district credit card and an additional activity account debit card. The Board also approved of a change order for services provided by the McCarthy firm in the amount of $185,000, approved of the graduation date for the 2016-2017 school year, set for May 20.
