(CARBONDALE, IL) — Carbondale Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information which leads to the arrest of a Carbondale man accused of shooting another man to death last Thursday. According to a news release, 22-year-old Jarrell J. Pullen remains at large on a Jackson County warrant for first degree murder in relation to the death of 19-year-old Javon T. Trott of Johnston City. Pullen allegedly shot Trott in the 400 block of East Willow Street around 5:30 p.m. last Thursday. Trott was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale where he died later. Police say the two men were acquainted and were engaged in an altercation prior to the shooting. Police say Pullen is considered to be armed and dangerous. You should not approach him. You should call police immediately. Police continue to encourage Pullen to turn himself in to avoid any further altercation.
