(Cahokia, IL) — The human remains found earlier this month in Cahokia are identified as those of Christopher Staciak.  Staciak was reported missing when he didn’t return from a hunting trip last month. It’s believed floodwaters prevented searchers in that area from finding the remains earlier. Some of Stasiak’s personal items were recovered at the scene. Foul play is not suspected, but the exact cause of death has not been determined.
