JEFFERSON COUNTY — A Drivers Lane mobile home was destroyed by fire late Thursday night. Reports from the Jefferson Fire Protection District indicate a mobile home at 14,999 North Drivers Lane east of Woodlawn was fully involved by the time they arrived.

The owner of the home had reportedly returned home to discover the blaze and after an attempt to retrieve a dog called 911 at approximately 11:04 PM. The mobile home, a dog, and all other possessions were lost in the fire.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
