(DUQUOIN, IL) — A DuQuoin woman was involved in a one-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Franklin County. According to Franklin County Sheriff Don Jones, 43-year-old Jennifer L. Lively was driving east on Peach Orchard Road, just east of the Perry County line, when she swerved to avoid a deer. Lively lost control and ran off the road striking an embankment. She received major injuries and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. She was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
