(WEST FRANKFORT, IL) — A West Frankfort woman was arrested over the weekend for Aggravated DUI charges.  Authorities with the Mt. Vernon Police Department arrested 39 year old Misty Hopper after a traffic stop over the weekend for Aggravated DUI-No license, Aggravated DUI-No insurance, and driving under the influence of alcohol.  Authorities witnessed a car swerving near the corner of 12th and Perkins. After initiating the stop, the officer witnessed the driver switching seats with a male passenger of the vehicle.  A field sobriety test was administered and Hopper was placed under arrest.  The Department of Children and Family Services were notified regarding three children under the age of 16 that were passengers in the vehicle.  Hopper was transported to the Jefferson County Justice Center where she was held awaiting her court appearance and the setting of bond.
