(MCLEANSBORO, IL) — Two men were recently sentenced to prison in Hamilton County. According to Hamilton County State’s Attorney Justin Hood, 43-year-old Randall D. Clark of Lawrenceville, Illinois, plead guilty Thursday to driving while license revoked – Class 4 felony. He will serve one year in state prison with one year of mandatory supervised release to follow his time in prison. Clark was arrested on Sept. 20 of last year by McLeansboro Police and his license was revoked for a previous DUI conviction. Thirty-one-year-old Floyd D. Hargrave of McLeansboro did an open plea to unlawful possession of a controlled substance – a Class 4 felony – on Sept. 1 of last year. He was sentenced Thursday to three years in state prison with one year of mandatory supervised release to follow his time in prison. Hargrave was arrested after police were allowed to search his home and his person since he was currently on mandatory supervised release from a previous case. He admitted to McLeansboro Police that he had Vicodin without a prescription and was placed into custody.
