(CARBONDALE, IL) — Governor Bruce Rauner will be spending time downstate today.  He will be at Carbondale Community High School at 10:30 this morning to sign a bill to cut bureaucratic red tape in the teacher hiring process for Illinois’ schools. This afternoon, he will head to Scott Air Force Base, where he will be joined by Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti in a declaration of the Year of Scott Air Force Base at the base’s centennial celebration.  That appearance will take place at 3 p.m.
