(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council is due to meet for the final regular meeting of 2016 this evening at 7 p.m. Among items on the agenda, the Council will request permission to seek bids for a long range CCTV inspection system.  The City Manager will submit consideration for a preliminary and final plat for property located at 17619 East Angling Road. The City Attorney will provide second readings of ordinances annexing property at 11741 East Richview Road and for authorizing a tax levy, in addition to a first reading of an ordinance authorizing the city manager to prepare and execute a principal note and security agreement concerning a loan with MidCountry Bank to finance the IMRF Early Retirement Incentive Program. The meeting will be held at the Rolland W. Lewis Building.
