(OMAHA, IL) — A Marion man faces a DUI charge after being involved in a one-car crash last night in Gallatin County. Illinois State Police say just before midnight, 32-year-old Gabriel G. Hernandez was driving his car north on US 45, about a half-mile south of Illinois 141, when he drove his car partially off the roadway to the east. He then lost control of his car causing it to overturn before leaving the roadway to the east and coming to rest in a field. An ambulance took Hernandez to an area hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained in the crash.  The vehicle was towed from the scene. Hernandez was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol.
