(SESSER, IL) — A Franklin County school superintendent was recently named regional superintendent of the year by the Illinois Association of School Administrators.  Officials say Jason Henry, superintendent of the Sesser-Valier Community Unit School District No. 196, will represent the Association’s Egyptian Division – which is made up of Franklin and six other southern Illinois counties. The award is for the current school year and follows his recent service as a board member for the statewide association. Henry currently serves as a trustee for the Workers’ Compensation Self-Insurance Trust.
