(WEST FRANKFORT, IL) — The Crosswalk Community Action Agency in West Frankfort is now setting up appointments for residents in Franklin, Jefferson and Williamson counties to fill out applications in order to get help paying a portion of their winter heating bills through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, better known as LIHEAP. To find out how to qualify for help, call the main office in West Frankfort at 937-3581. Jefferson County residents may call the Illinois Department of Human Services office in Mt. Vernon at 244-4858. Williamson County residents may call Man-Tra-Con at 998-9023.
