(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council has scheduled a special council meeting for Thursday afternoon.  The items on the agenda include hearing requests and addresses from the audience, a resolution approving subordination agreement with Weedy Acres Properties, LLC, and a continued discussion on funding options for public utilities before going into executive session.  The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. at City Hall.
