BENTON–Two Benton men are in the Franklin County Jail for allegedly stealing medicine and equipment from ambulances in the city on Friday.  Benton Police were called to an ambulance base in the 300 block of Park Street at around 2:45 a.m. Police say several medications and pieces of emergency medical equipment had been stolen from three ambulances. An investigation led officers to 19-year-old Charles Welsh. He was arrested for burglary. Eighteen-year-old Colton Endicott was arrested for possession of stolen property. The items taken during the burglary were recovered.
