(East St. Louis, IL) — An East Saint Louis man has been sentenced to life in prison for a pair of armed robberies. Federal prosecutors say Timothy Collier robbed a local jewelry store in April of 2013. During the theft, he shot the owner, who is now paralyzed from the chest down.
