(East St. Louis, IL) — A Metro East man has pleaded guilty to a child porn charge. Prosecutors say 33-year-old Shaun Meyer of Alton received child porn from a file-sharing network. Federal agents were able to seize the suspect’s laptop and found 171 video files with illegal images. Meyer confessed to downloading child porn for at least two years. He’ll be sentenced in October and could face up to 20 years in prison.
