(Edwardsville, IL) — Five Madison County judges and one St. Clair County judge are being kicked off the bench. The Madison County circuit court judges have voted not to retain Duane Bailey, Ben Beyers, Donald Flack, David Grounds and Elizabeth Levy as associate judges. In St. Clair County, Laninya Cason has been voted out. The move begins a process that gives applicants for those associate judge slots 30-days to submit their paperwork, and two weeks after that the circuit court judges will vote.
