Carmi, IL – Captain Kelly Hodge, District 19 Commander, announced the results of an Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) patrol which was conducted in Wabash County on Friday, 05/15/15. Authorities issued 6 total citations and 18 total written warnings including 4 occupant restraint citations and a speeding citation. There were no DUI, drug, or alcohol related arrests, or suspended driver’s license citations. The Illinois State Police (ISP) reminds those who drink and drive that future patrols will be conducted. The ISP will continue to work to save lives by taking DUI offenders off the road, arresting them, and locking them up.
