(Effingham, IL) — Federal and local authorities are searching for a man believed to have abducted a woman in Missouri before she escaped in Effingham County. The FBI says a woman reported she was forced into a red pickup truck Tuesday in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The woman claims she was driven to various locations and assaulted until escaping in Effingham later that evening.
