(Wayne County, IL) — A Wayne County man has pleaded guilty to mail fraud after he was accused of stealing more than 350 thousand dollars from two employers. Bruce Johnson appeared in federal court Thursday. He was a manager at the Wayne-White Counties Electric Cooperative and also served as treasurer for a Wayne City Church. Prosecutors say Johnson sent checks for personal reasons from accounts belonging to the co-op and the church. Johnson will be sentenced in August.
