(MT. VERNON, IL) — Mt. Vernon City Council is due to meet this evening. Among items on the agenda, the Council will hear bid results for the Salute to Freedom fireworks show and the City Manager will present the Capital Projects Report. The City Attorney will give the first reading of a Raffles and Poker Run Ordinance amendment, a resolution reclassifying certain public utilities and sanitation accounts for accounting purposes, and a resolution approving the intergovernmental agreement with Jefferson County for the Emergency Telephone System. The meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building.
