(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Jefferson County Board made two appointments at their meeting on Monday. Board member James Malone was re-appointed to the 708 Mental Health Board. Also on Monday, Joyce Damron was appointed to the County Extension Board. This leaves the Jefferson County Extension Board with one vacant position, and the board waited to offer it to an absent board member on his return.
