(Fairview Heights, IL) — A man accused of beating his ex-girlfriend bloody in an Applebee’s parking lot is behind bars. Fairview Height police arrested Darvin Crumble on domestic violence charges over the weekend outside the restaurant on Ludwig Drive. Witnesses told officers they’d seen Crumble punch the woman in the face several times and spit on her. Police reported she was bleeding from the mouth and nose and had a swollen face when they arrived.
