CENTRAL CITY — A 24-year-old Sandoval woman was arrested Thursday by Central City Police for alleged retail theft and forgery connected to an earlier incident involving counterfeit cash.

Madelin Cummins was arrested for retail theft and forgery. Cummins had been sought after she allegedly passed a $10 counterfeit bill last month at the Citgo Station in Central City.

She was located Thursday when police were investigating a report of a suspicious person.
