MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

22-year-old Alec Franklin of Herrin was arrested Tuesday for DUI-alcohol.

79-year-old Leroy Dickens of Bonnie was arrested Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance and illegally carrying or possessing a firearm.

32-year-old Christopher Shehorn of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for possession of meth less than five grams and driving on a suspended license.

35-year-old Jessica Ridgeway of Nason was arrested Tuesday for driving on a suspended license.

18-year-old Alexander Williams of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for residential burglary, burglary, and resisting / obstructing an officer.

18-year-old Kadin Gulley of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for burglary, residential burglary, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting / obstructing a peace officer.

46-year-old David Young was arrested Tuesday for driving on a suspended license.

39-year-old Kristopher Russell of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for domestic battery.

37-year-old Veronica Smith of Mt. Vernon was arrested Tuesday for DUI-intoxicating compound.

37-year-old Ryan Floyd of McLeansboro was arrested Wednesday for false impersonation of a peace officer and disorderly conduct.
