MT. VERNON — United Way of South Central Illinois, in conjunction with the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, will be announcing their 2ndAnnual Compassionate Caregiver of The Year award at the chamber luncheon on May 16th.
The award is a co-sponsored by Crossroads Community and SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital’s. Executive Director with United Way, Natalie Wellen says the beginnings of the award came from a personal situation to her.
Chamber President, Brandon Bullard says he’s glad to be a part of recognizing these area health heroes.
The luncheon will take place during the first “Thursday Night Live” of 2019 held at Cedarhurst Center for The Arts.
