MT. VERNON — WMIX/WDML brings you part 5 of a two-week series on the contested races for the school boards of Mt. Vernon City Schools District 80, Mt. Vernon Township High School District 201, and the Mt. Vernon City Council.

Today we have one of the candidates running for the MVTHS School Board, Lora Mellott Greathouse.

Mellott Greathouse says not only does the school board help represent the quality of the school itself, but she wants the students to have the tools to do the same.

The other candidates running for MVTHS School Board are Jonathon Ashby, Tina Elliot, Matthew Flanigan, and Terry Knowles.
