MT. VERNON — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

19-year-old Elias Hernandez of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for residential burglary.

67-year-old Michael Smith-Peters of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for indirect civil contempt.

25-year-old Christian Younger of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for criminal trespass to land, possession of meth less than five grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

20-year-old John Fowler of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for possession of meth less than five grams, possession of a hypodermic syringe / needle / etc., and driving with no license.

34-year-old Jessy Ledbetter of Mt. Vernon was arrested Friday for four counts of retail theft less than $300 and possessing a stolen vehicle.

33-year-old Thyrus Feltus of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Friday for criminal trespassing to state land.
